  • 8-days, 25km, 200km datasets have been removed from the catalogue
  • The long time series (REP) have been extended to Dec 2018 or June 2019 depending the datasets.
  • New products: Primary production (PP), phytoplankton functional type (PFT)
  • OLCI-S3B & VIRRS-JPPS1 now used by the GlobColour processor
18-March-2019: NASA has used release 9.3.0-V2019.0 to fix issues concerning some MODIS-Aqua L1/L2 granules for the period 2002-present (see the forum discussion).

    • The Chlorophyll products are now based on the CI-Hue approach for low concentration
    • OLCI-S3A contributes both to NRT and REP chlorophyll products

  • Addition of Satellite Ocean Colour SeaWiFS daily climatology data for Mediterranean and Black seas
  • Extension of Satellite Ocean Colour Reprocessing (CCI) products up to 2017-12-19

09-Oct-2006: MERIS configuration - ESA has turning-off the offset control loop (OCL) on 13.12.2004, leading to an unexpected increase of low level noise. The OCL was turned on again on 09.10.2006. A correction of the data acquired during the OCL-off period was introduced in the 3rd reprocessing which was released in July 2011.
